You will master PLC controllers, microcontrollers and advanced CAD/CAE software, while gaining knowledge of electrohydraulic and electropneumatic systems. You will acquire practical skills in artificial intelligence methods, industrial communication networks and machine vision systems, enabling you to implement Industry 4.0 solutions.
During your studies you will:
- learn to program PLC controllers, microcontrollers and industrial robots from the most widely used manufacturers,
- master the design of control cabinets, industrial installations and automated production workstations,
- acquire the skills to model and simulate automation processes using environments such as LabVIEW,
- learn to design machine components in CAD systems and become familiar with 3D printing and 3D scanning technologies,
- gain knowledge of the design and control of hydraulic and pneumatic drive systems,
- learn to configure industrial communication networks and process visualisation systems (SCADA/HMI),
- acquire knowledge of artificial intelligence methods, the Internet of Things (IoT) and data cybersecurity,
- prepare to test electronic systems and design printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Practical training:
- professional internship (4 weeks in total)
Selected courses:
The curriculum includes, among others: PLC Programming, Industrial Robotics, Artificial Intelligence Methods, Hydraulic Drives and Control, Graphical Programming Language (LabVIEW), Control Cabinet Design, Communication Networks, Laser Technologies, Operating Systems and Data Security.
Career opportunities:
After graduation, you may pursue a career as:
- Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer – designing and commissioning production line control systems,
- Robotics Engineer – installing, programming and servicing industrial robots and integrated robotic systems,
- Maintenance Engineer – ensuring the reliable operation of machinery, electrohydraulic equipment and measurement systems in industrial plants,
- Control and Measurement Systems Designer – working in design offices or metrology institutions (e.g. the Central Office of Measures Laboratory Campus),
- Machine Vision and AI Implementation Specialist – implementing advanced image processing and artificial intelligence algorithms for industrial applications,
