Description

You will acquire advanced knowledge of engineering surveying, satellite surveying and real estate management, preparing you for managerial positions. You will master modern data acquisition technologies, including 3D laser scanning and unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) systems. You will learn how to solve complex legal and technical problems in investment processes and gain expertise in advanced real estate valuation methods.

Admission requirements:

Applicants holding the professional title of Engineer in Geodesy and Cartography, as well as graduates of related engineering programmes, are eligible for admission. Graduates of related fields may be required to complete curriculum differences from the first-cycle programme in Geodesy and Cartography. The required curriculum differences are determined by the Dean’s Representative for the Recognition of Learning Outcomes based on the submitted Diploma Supplement. The curriculum differences may not exceed 30 ECTS credits.

During your studies you will:

  • learn to design and establish geodetic control networks and perform precise GNSS surveys,
  • master advanced 3D modelling methods and point cloud processing,
  • gain detailed knowledge of the valuation of specialised real estate and cadastral procedures,
  • learn to automate geospatial analyses and design advanced GIS databases,
  • become familiar with geodetic monitoring of structures and ground deformation as well as surveying for transport routes and interchanges,
  • acquire competencies in geodynamics, physical geodesy and gravimetry,
  • learn to prepare surveying documentation for administrative and court proceedings,
  • gain the theoretical preparation required to apply for the professional title of Property Valuer.

Practical training:

  • professional internship – 3 months.

  • Master of Science in Engineering Surveying (Managerial Positions) – managing surveying teams and supervising complex surveying projects.
  • Property Valuer – after completing the required professional practice, you may take the national licensing examination without the need to complete postgraduate studies.
  • Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Specialist – processing drone and laser scanning data in modern design offices.
  • GIS Analyst – designing advanced spatial databases for spatial information infrastructure.
  • Real Estate Management Specialist – working in real estate agencies, property development companies and consulting firms.
  • Public Administration Expert – working in real estate management and updating the databases of the National Geodetic and Cartographic Resource.

Rekrutację studentów na pierwszy rok studiów drugiego stopnia przeprowadza się na podstawie złożonych dokumentów, gdy liczba kandydatów nie przekracza limitu miejsc. W przypadku, gdy liczba zgłoszonych osób jest większa niż ustalony limit, rekrutacja jest przeprowadzana na podstawie konkursu, do którego brany jest pod uwagę - wynik ukończenia studiów wpisany do dyplomu.
