Description

You will acquire advanced knowledge in the design and operation of complex distributed energy systems and hybrid heating substations. You will master modern energy storage technologies, hydrogen and nuclear energy systems, as well as intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) for engineering design.

As a graduate with a Master's degree in Engineering, you will be prepared to conduct energy efficiency audits and solve technical challenges related to energy recovery systems and advanced smoke ventilation systems.

Admission requirements:

Applicants must hold an Engineer's degree in Renewable Energy Sources or an Engineer's degree in a related field. Graduates of related programmes may be required to complete curriculum differences from the first-cycle Renewable Energy Sources programme. These curriculum differences are determined by the Dean's Representative for the Recognition of Prior Learning based on the submitted Diploma Supplement and may not exceed 30 ECTS credits.

During your studies:

  • you will learn to design advanced solar thermal systems and domestic hot water (DHW) installations powered by renewable energy sources,
  • you will prepare to implement hydrogen energy technologies and advanced photovoltaic systems,
  • you will master the design and operation of energy-efficient ventilation and air-conditioning systems, including ground heat exchangers,
  • you will gain the ability to conduct energy efficiency audits and assess the economic viability of environmentally friendly investments,
  • you will become familiar with advanced control and regulation systems for renewable energy installations as well as Building Management Systems (BMS),
  • you will learn to apply Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology in the design of internal building installations,
  • you will gain knowledge of modern energy storage methods and waste energy recovery technologies,
  • you will prepare to obtain full professional building licences (design and construction, without restrictions) in the sanitary engineering specialization.

  • Research and Development (R&D) Coordinator – conducting research on advanced construction materials and hydrogen technologies.

Rekrutację studentów na pierwszy rok studiów drugiego stopnia przeprowadza się na podstawie złożonych dokumentów, gdy liczba kandydatów nie przekracza limitu miejsc. W przypadku, gdy liczba zgłoszonych osób jest większa niż ustalony limit, rekrutacja jest przeprowadzana na podstawie konkursu, do którego brany jest pod uwagę - wynik ukończenia studiów wpisany do dyplomu.
