The second-cycle Management for Engineers programme has been designed for graduates of engineering studies who wish to complement their technical knowledge with managerial, analytical, and strategic competencies. The curriculum focuses on two key areas: Quality Management and Lean Management, as well as Data Analytics in Business Processes, preparing graduates to make informed decisions in organizations operating in the era of digital transformation.

Admission requirements:

Applicants must hold an Engineer's degree or a Master's degree in Engineering and demonstrate the competencies and motivation required to undertake studies in this programme, which will be assessed during an admission interview. Candidates will be exempt from the interview (based on submitted documents) if they have completed first-cycle, second-cycle, or postgraduate studies in Economics, Management, or Finance and Accounting, or if they currently run or have previously run a business, or have at least six months of professional experience, internship, or placement in positions related to human, material, or intangible resource management, sales, marketing, or negotiations.

During your studies:

  • you will learn to design and implement Lean Management systems to optimize processes and improve resource efficiency,
  • you will become familiar with modern digital marketing solutions and IT-based management tools,
  • you will learn to analyse, visualize, and report data as well as model business processes,
  • you will gain knowledge of strategic, process, and human resource management,
  • you will learn to apply economic and financial tools in managerial decision-making,
  • you will explore the psychological aspects of team management, business communication, and public speaking,
  • you will learn to incorporate legal and ethical aspects of management, including labour law and intellectual property law.

Managerial Economics, Public Speaking, Strategic Management (Business Simulations), Business Modelling, Lean Management, Quality Management Systems, IT Tools for Management, Digital Marketing.
