The programme provides comprehensive education in the broad field of civil engineering. During your studies, you will learn how to design building structures, select construction materials and analyse their strength. You will master technical drawing, structural calculations, and the planning and organisation of construction works. You will acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary for the safe design and construction of buildings, roads and engineering structures.
During your studies you will:
- learn the principles of structural design and construction technologies,
- learn to analyse the strength of materials and the behaviour of structures,
- gain knowledge of surveying, geology, hydraulics and soil mechanics,
- master technical drawing and the fundamentals of architectural design,
- become familiar with construction technologies and the organisation of the construction process,
- learn to use computer tools in engineering design,
- gain knowledge of construction law and spatial planning.
Selected courses:
History of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Descriptive Geometry and Technical Drawing, Fundamentals of Transportation Engineering, Plastics, Theoretical Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Soil Mechanics, Timber and Masonry Structures, Building Renovation.
Career opportunities:
After graduation, you may pursue a career as:
- Construction Site Engineer in a construction company
- Assistant Designer in a design office
- Construction Supervision Specialist
- Employee in concrete and prefabricated building component manufacturing plants
- Employee in the building materials industry

Uwaga!
S = M + n·W + 0,1·JP + 0,1·JO
n = 0,4 przy wskazaniu: geografii, biologii,
n = 0,2 przy wskazaniu: historii, wiedzy o społeczeństwie.
