Description
You will learn how to design, program and maintain modern control systems and electrical installations used in smart residential and industrial facilities. You will master the programming of PLC controllers, industrial robots and CNC machine tools, and gain knowledge of machine vision systems and the Internet of Things (IoT). You will acquire practical skills in modelling and simulation of dynamic systems (using CAD/CAS software) as well as in developing process visualisation systems (SCADA), preparing you for work in the Industry 4.0 environment.
During your studies you will:
- learn to design and configure automated production lines and machine control systems,
- prepare for programming industrial controllers (PLCs) and microcontrollers using high-level programming languages,
- master the principles of designing, modelling and controlling modern electric drives and electrical machines,
- gain knowledge of the design of electrical installations, protection systems and building automation,
- learn to use CAD tools to create professional technical documentation and electrical schematics,
- become familiar with signal and image analysis methods as well as artificial intelligence techniques applied in control systems,
- acquire the skills to design and implement industrial computer networks and local ICT networks,
- prepare to perform measurements of electrical and non-electrical quantities using modern measuring equipment.
Practical training:
- professional internship (4 weeks in total)
Selected courses:
Industrial Controller Programming, Robotics and Mechanisation, Electrical Installations, Microprocessor Control Systems, Industrial Computer Networks, Electronic Circuits, Electrical Machines, Image Processing and Vision Systems, Control Systems Design.
Career opportunities:
After graduation, you may pursue a career as:
- Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer – designing and implementing control systems for production lines,
- Electrical Engineer – designing and supervising electrical installations and protection systems,
- Robotics Specialist – programming and servicing industrial manipulators and mobile robots,
- SCADA Systems Designer – developing HMI interfaces and process visualisation systems,
- Maintenance Engineer – ensuring the reliable operation of automated manufacturing systems,
- Design Office Engineer – developing innovative solutions in power electronics and industrial automation.
Uwaga!
S = M + n·W + 0,1·JP + 0,1·JO
n = 0,4 przy wskazaniu: geografii, biologii,
n = 0,2 przy wskazaniu: historii, wiedzy o społeczeństwie.
