Description
The Architecture programme is intended for creative individuals who want to have a real impact on the world around them. Architecture combines artistic imagination with science and engineering in a unique way. During the programme, you will learn how to design buildings, interiors and urban spaces – from the initial concept to functional and technical solutions. You will master architectural drawing, modelling and project visualisation. You will gain the skills necessary to contribute to architectural design projects and participate in the implementation of construction investments.
NOTE:
Applicants for the Architecture programme are required to take a drawing aptitude examination to assess their artistic skills and suitability for architectural studies.
During your studies you will:
- acquire architectural and urban design skills in various historical, cultural, urban and rural contexts,
- develop concepts for residential and commercial developments,
- learn to design interiors and public spaces,
- improve your freehand drawing, painting and visualisation techniques,
- create architectural models and use digital design tools,
- learn the principles of spatial planning and urban regeneration,
- gain knowledge of structural design, building technologies and building physics,
- become familiar with construction law and the organisation of the investment and construction process.
Practical training:
- architectural surveying placement,
- urban planning placement,
- professional placement.

Introductory Urban Design, Freehand Drawing, Construction Law, History of Polish Architecture, Architectural and Urban Composition Design, Architectural and Building Design, Building Physics, Construction Law.
Career opportunities:
After graduation, you may pursue a career in:
- architectural, design and urban planning studios,
- construction and property development companies, as well as architectural visualisation and 3D graphics studios,
- interior and public space design studios,
- local and central government administration.

Fees:
- Tuition fee for course in English = €1200 per semester
- Tuition fee for course in Polish = €600 per semester
- Application fee = €24 (€20 if the math exam is not required)
