Description

You will learn how to design and supervise the installation of modern internal building systems, including heating, ventilation and gas installations, as well as external water supply and sewage infrastructure. You will master advanced technologies for water treatment, wastewater purification and waste management using specialised engineering software. You will gain a solid foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and civil engineering, enabling you to comprehensively solve problems related to environmental resource protection.

During your studies you will:

  • learn to design internal water supply, sewage, gas, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems,
  • prepare to construct and operate external water supply and sewage networks as well as hydraulic engineering structures,
  • become familiar with modern technologies for water treatment, wastewater and sludge neutralisation, and waste management,
  • master the use of computer-aided engineering software (BIM, CAD) and technical calculation tools,
  • learn to analyse chemical and biological processes occurring in the environment and their impact on technical infrastructure,
  • acquire the skills to prepare technical documentation, estimate project costs and manage engineering project schedules,
  • learn to design geotechnical structures and assess soil quality for sanitary engineering projects,
  • prepare to apply for professional construction licences in sanitary and hydraulic engineering.

Practical training:

  • professional internship – a total of 4 weeks.

Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Thermodynamics, Sanitary Chemistry, Water Supply and Sewerage Systems, Heating Engineering, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Gas Installations, Geotechnics, Hydrology and Hydraulics, Biomass Processing Technologies, Hydraulic Engineering, Computer-Aided Design (BIM).

After graduation, you may pursue a career as:

  • Construction Engineer / Installation Contractor – supervising the implementation of sanitary, heating and air-conditioning projects in construction companies,
  • Sanitary Systems Designer – preparing technical documentation for utility networks and installations in specialised design offices,
  • Municipal Utilities Engineer – managing the operation of water supply systems, sewerage networks, wastewater treatment plants and water treatment facilities,
  • Environmental Protection Specialist – working in local or central government administration or in environmental protection departments of companies,
  • Waste Management Engineer – dealing with waste processing, landfill management and the reclamation of degraded land,
  • Technical Consultant / Cost Estimator – preparing cost estimates and selecting optimal technologies for infrastructure investment projects.

  1. secondary school certificate containing a transcript of marks – in the original language and sworn translation into English or Polish
  2. Legalization/Apostille of the originally issued diploma and transcript of marks
  3. valid passport (pages with photo and personal data)
  4. visa (if required and obtained)
  5. language confirmation (not necessary for citizens of English-speaking countries). More info here

Fees:

  • Tuition fee for course in English = €1200 per semester
  • Tuition fee for course in Polish = €600 per semester
  • Application fee = €24 (€20 if the math exam is not required)
  • Application fee for Architecture = €35
