Description

You will learn to plan, design, and manage modern transport systems with a particular focus on road transport, which is a key pillar of the Polish economy. You will master the principles of vehicle design, diagnostics, and operation, including modern alternative powertrains, electric vehicles, and autonomous vehicles. You will gain proficiency in using ICT systems applied in freight forwarding as well as computer tools supporting logistics and business process modelling.

During your studies:

  • you will learn to design diagnostic, maintenance, and repair processes for road transport vehicles,
  • you will prepare to organize the safe transport of dangerous goods (ADR) and intermodal transport,
  • you will master methods of vehicle valuation and repair cost estimation using professional expert systems,
  • you will gain knowledge of intelligent transport infrastructure and traffic engineering,
  • you will learn to manage vehicle fleets, optimize supply chains, and prepare freight forwarding and customs documentation,
  • you will become familiar with motor insurance systems and the methodology of automotive appraisal,
  • you will learn to design transport infrastructure components and technical facilities (transport depots and service centres),
  • you will prepare to conduct internal combustion engine testing and analyse conventional and alternative fuel technologies.

Internships:

  • professional internship (4 weeks in total)

The programme includes courses such as: Logistics and Freight Forwarding, Automotive Diagnostics, Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, Transport Law, Intelligent Road Transport Infrastructure, Motor Insurance, Vehicle Dynamics, Operations Research, Road Transport Technology.

After graduation, you may pursue a career as a:

  • Transport and Freight Forwarding Engineer – managing transport operations in transport and logistics companies,
  • Fleet Operations and Management Specialist – supervising vehicle fleets and planning drivers' work schedules,
  • Automotive Diagnostics Engineer – using advanced diagnostic equipment to assess vehicle condition and perform repairs,
  • Automotive Appraiser (Trainee) – working for insurance companies in claims assessment or as an independent expert,
  • Logistics Systems Designer – optimizing warehouse operations and the flow of goods in international supply chains,
  • Public Administration Specialist – working in transport and vehicle registration authorities on traffic engineering and road safety.

  1. secondary school certificate containing a transcript of marks – in the original language and sworn translation into English or Polish
  2. Legalization/Apostille of the originally issued diploma and transcript of marks
  3. valid passport (pages with photo and personal data)
  4. visa (if required and obtained)
  5. language confirmation (not necessary for citizens of English-speaking countries). More info here

Fees:

  • Tuition fee for course in English = €1,400 per semester
  • Tuition fee for course in Polish = €600 per semester
  • Application fee = €24 (€20 if the math exam is not required)
  • Application fee for Architecture = €35
