Description

You will learn to design modern products, industrial forms, and visual communication systems by combining engineering expertise with artistic creativity. You will master professional 3D modelling and graphic design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CorelDRAW, while also gaining experience with advanced 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies. You will acquire practical skills in model making, reverse engineering, and structural optimization, enabling you to develop industrial designs ready for commercial implementation.

During your studies:

  • you will learn to carry out the complete design process – from freehand sketching and concept development to virtual modelling and physical prototyping,
  • you will master the principles of designing industrial forms, furniture, everyday products, and industrial machinery,
  • you will prepare to design application interfaces (UI/UX), visual identity systems, and brand identity guidelines,
  • you will gain knowledge of materials engineering, including modern composites, nanomaterials, and polymer materials,
  • you will learn to perform structural strength analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM),
  • you will become familiar with reverse engineering techniques (3D scanning) and advanced manufacturing technologies (laser and plasma processing),
  • you will learn to design public spaces, interiors, and ergonomic workstations,
  • you will gain knowledge of intellectual property protection and patent procedures at the Polish Patent Office.

Internships:

  • professional internship (4 weeks in total, including 1 week of outdoor drawing workshops and 3 weeks of internship in a company or design office).

Selected courses:

The programme includes courses such as: Industrial Design, Freehand Drawing, 3D Modelling, Computer Graphics (Raster and Vector), 3D Printing and Scanning, Reverse Engineering, Rapid Prototyping Technologies, Visual Communication Design, Art and Painting, Intellectual Property Protection.

Career opportunities:
